Tis the Season

Finally finished with all my exams. Now I can breathe and type. It has been many days since I have last written so I will try to recap all that has gone on in this last month.  

To start off, one day we went to the point. There was a trampoline provided by Proof Eyewear. And Peter's friend Danny jumped off in a Gorilla Suit!!! Crazyyy Kid.

After a night of overeating also known as Thanksgiving, Andrew had the great idea to hike Stairway to Heaven. One of the best nights ever.

Boy those stairs were steep, and over 4,000 of them to climb.

The sunrise was unreal. Truly a paradise that pictures cant capture.

The next weekend, we had a family beach day and the boys made a hut. I wonder if it still there!?

Let me just tell you. One of the most exciting days of my life happened here on the North Shore. We heard that the cast of the Hunger Games were staying at Turtle bay. Well Kaitlyn, Nicia and I took a gamble and drove there to find them. And baby we did! We sat on the beach and watched them film a few scenes for the new movie Catching Fire. On another note, Josh Hutcherson looked right at me and smiled. We made eye contact people. Not that I am star struck or anything. Honestly it would be amazing to run into them again, but their security is over the top but understandable. Needless to say it 

was a wonderful day. 

Our usual trip to Starbucks. But this was a different drink. Best one ever. White Chocolate Peppermint Creme Frappuccino with chocolate shavings on top. Heaven in a high calorie drink.

On this past saturday Pete and I headed down to town to have a family day! Peter didnt want to spill so he at his ice cream out side the car, while it was moving. We got all our christmas shopping done, watched movies, had dinner, and most importart had a blast with our family.

I have been done with my first semester of college for three days now, and it is amazing. I have accomplished this with only one B and the rest A's. I didnt even make that good of grades in high school. College is a blast, but I am counting down the days until I go home! Only 2 more days! Well it is late, so goodnight!

12 Days Too Long.

As I sat down to write this, I stopped to collect my thoughts. But all I could hear was the sound of the rain hitting the puddles and smell the wonderful scent of rain hitting wet pavement. That smell always reminds me of Texas rainstorms.
So much has happened in these past twelve days, it is almost impossible that I wont leave something out. So I will attempt at a very good recap. The highlights.

I cant actually remember the day, it was last friday I believe. We all went to sunset beach to watch the sunset. Peter actually wanted to take a picture with me, shocker.

If you know my brother, you know he is terrified of holding, looking, touching, or even seeing babies. Who is the world knows how Franco got Peter to hold baby Eva. But needless to say it is a miracle.

Nicia decided she wanted to be Princess Leia/Helga warrior woman. Props to me for the wonderful hairdo.

Last friday we went surfing at turtle bay, and peter made me use Franco's shorter board. I only caught two waves on my knees. The board was so slippery because I didnt put wax on it...oops.

Spending time with little angle is the highlight of my week.

Lastly I dont have a picture, but today for a good five hours, I helped out at a bake sale to help the relief effort for Hurricane Sandy. We made $820, so crazy but had so much fun with really cool girls!

Hawaiian Halloween.

This week just flew by! I can not believe it is already the weekend! For halloween Peter, Nicia, Amanda, Kaitlyn and I went to Waikiki for some halloween partying. I couldnt think of a good costume and had been Harry Potter, so cowgirl it was! 

Here we are at a dance party on the strip in Waikiki. I ran into a few kids from school, a short hello was all that was needed, because it was time to party! 

  Nicia and Amanda were feeling some good old ice cream... and we couldn't turn another halloween photo shoot now could we!?!

Flash back from the past. My sister Caity and me, dressed up for halloween manyyyyyy years ago. I was probably 2 1/2 years old and Caity was Probably around 7. Man we were cute.

One of the sketchiest things I saw all night. Seeing people move around in the back and cops come surround was a sight to see! 

Meanwhile, at home my family is cleaning up the destruction from hurricane Sandy. My poor family didn't have power for 5 days,( not too bad) 6 trees down, including one that took out our deck, almost crashed through the house into my room, shattered my windows. My parents hands are full of chopping trees, becoming lumber jacks. Needless to say, we will never need anymore fire wood.

I dragged Nicia to come to the Institute of International Professional Protocol with me. We get to go to the banquet tonight and socialize with tons of successful business men and women. It's good experience  and looks great on your resumé. I snapped this beauty when we were in a "how to look presentable" class. Nicia has it down to a tee. 

 So there are tons of pictures below of a sunset. On saturday after some IIPP classes, we all decided we should go watch the sunset on Sunset Beach. It is literally one of the most beautiful things you will ever witness. I couldnt stop taking pictures.
